Double injury blow for Munster

On the injury front there was mixed news for PRO12 frontrunners Munster Jean Kleyn and Jaco Taute this week.

Following further consultation with a specialist, Kleyn has been ruled out for approximately 8 to 10 weeks after the South African lock sustained a neck injury in last Friday’s PRO12 encounter against Newport Gwent Dragons.

Kleyn has been impressive form for Munster since joining the province from the Stormers.

Taute meanwhile continues to rehab a shoulder injury sustained in the same game, requiring further rest and recovery over the next week or so.
