Crockett hits 150 for Crusaders

Crusaders prop Wyatt Crockett will play his 150th game for the Christchurch-based franchise when they face the Hurricanes in Wellington on Saturday.

Crusaders head coach Todd Blackadder has made just two changes to his starting line-up from the side that beat the Blues last weekend.

Matt Todd will start at seven this week, after Richie McCaw was ruled out following a head knock in the game against the Blues.

That sees Luke Whitelock come onto the bench as loose forward cover.

Scrum-half Andy Ellis steps back into the starting line-up with Mitchell Drummond moving to the reserves.

Blackadder said his charges will be keen to make this a game to remember for 32-year-old Crockett, who made his debut for the Crusaders in 2006.

“This is a remarkable achievement for any player and Crocky deserves every accolade he gets on this special occasion," he said.

"He is the ultimate team man and a true Crusaders legend. We all love him for his positivity, wit and loyalty and we are looking forward to honouring the big man on Saturday night.”
