Clermont facing scrum-half crisis

Date published: August 17 2015

Clermont have been dealt a major blow with the news that Ludovic Radosavljevic will be out for two months with an adductor injury.

The injury to the scrum-half, during this weekend's friendly win over Glasgow, comes at the worst possible time for Clermont, with Morgan Parra likely to be away at the World Cup for the opening weeks of the season.

That leaves academy duo Charlie Cassang and Enzo Sanga, both 20, as the only fit scrum-halves in the squad.

Sporting director Jean-Marc Lhermet has already turned his attention to finding a medical joker, but in the meantime, Cassang and Sanga will be charged with filling in.

Clermont begin their season away to La Rochelle next Saturday.
