Rugby brand Canterbury has launched a massive Black Friday sale on British and Irish Lions kits, training gear, rugby balls and boots.

The discounts cut as much as 50% from the price of hundreds of items in the sale, which will run until Black Friday itself on 28 November.

Canterbury is one of the biggest names in rugby gear and produces some of the best quality rugby training hoodies, joggers and t-shirts. It also produces kits for the likes of the British and Irish Lions, and the Ireland national team.

Black Friday sale

The Black Friday sale includes the brand’s full range of rugby boots as worn by some of the game’s top players and accessories such as head protection and rugby balls.

Here are the picks of the best things to buy in the Canterbury sale.

The Lions’ player jersey was £110 when it was launched for the tour in the summer but it now costs just £55. The player jersey uses the same materials and design as that worn by the players themselves.

Fans who want to save even more can get the superlight t-shirt in the style of the kit for just £10.50 in one of the biggest bargains in the sale.

However, many of the items in the Lions merchandise range are now out of stock so fans will need to move fast to take advantage of the deals.

Other discounts

The sale also includes Ireland’s home and away shirts as worn by the team in the current Autumn Nations Series. The player jerseys are reduced to £55 in the Black Friday sale.

Canterbury has cut the price of rugby boots in the sale and the biggest savings can be found on the Speed Falcon versions, which cost around £22 for children’s and £58 for adult versions. You can see the full list of boots here.

Other discounts include rugby balls reduced to just £7.50, training hoodies, zip training tops, t-shirts and shorts.
