The Bulls have been dealt an injury setback with the news that number eight Hanro Liebenberg will be ruled out for six to eight weeks.
Liebenberg sustained a knee ligament injury in Saturday’s 40-10 win over the Sharks in Durban.
The Bulls confirmed on their website that the 22-year-old will undergo surgery on Wednesday and is expected to be out for around two months.
On a positive note, wing Travis Ismaiel has resumed training with the side while flank Nic de Jager has made a full recovery from a rib injury.
The Bulls tackle the Melbourne Rebels in Pretoria this Saturday, looking to make it three wins on the bounce.
