Bruni replaces Nyanga in France squad

France have called Toulon loose forward Virgile Bruni into their training squad for ahead of the November internationals.

Toulouse duo Yoann Huget and Yannick Nyanga underwent fitness tests with the medicals staffs of the their club and the national team on Monday.

Huget was passed fit but will be rested for Friday’s Top 14 clash with Bayonne. Nyanga has an adductor injury and will not be able to take part in the training camp which starts on Sunday (28 September to October 1) at French headquarters at Marcoussis.

Uncapped Bruni becomes the eighth Toulon member of the squad.

The 25-year-old has been in excellent form for the European champions, starting five out of six games for Toulon in the Top 14 this season.
