The British and Irish Lions have revealed two new kits set to be worn by the players on the tour of Australia.

The team’s kit supplier, Canterbury, has already released the traditional red shirt set to be worn on the tour. The new shirt also comes with a new Heritage range with merchandise based on a more classic look.

The Lions team will wear blue and white kits in training during the tour and both shirts are available to buy at half the price of the actual shirt. The training tops are simple designs with the Lions badge, Canterbury logo and sponsor name Howden for the first time on a Lions tour.

While the tour takes place in winter in Australia, the shirts have been designed to cope with high temperatures with quick drying fabric boosting evaporation of sweat and mesh fabric on the arms and back to help breathability.

Half the price of replica jerseys

The shirts are priced at £35, which is half the price of the replica Lions jerseys on sale for the 2025 tour to Australia.

Canterbury has also launched caps priced at £25 and scarves priced at £20 in time for the tour. The hats and scarves form part of the fan range for the tour. It also includes fan t-shirts, gilets, bucket hats and replica balls. You can see the full range here.

The British and Irish Lions tour begins with a warm-up game against an Argentina XV in Dublin before the squad travels to the Southern Hemisphere for the opening game against Western Force on June 28.

There will be games against Queensland Reds, NSW Waratahs, ACT Brumbies and an Australia and New Zealand invitational XV before the beginning of the Tests. The Tests themselves take place in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne as the Lions face the Wallabies in the latest tour of the Southern Hemisphere.
