Bulls loose forward Renaldo Bothma has been named captain of Namibia ahead of their Nations Cup campaign in Romania later this month.

Bothma also represented Namibia at the Rugby World Cup in England last year.

Commenting on this selection to lead his country, the Blue Bulls Company (Pty) Ltd High Performance Manager, Xander Janse van Rensburg congratulated the player.

"It is fantastic news and well deserved. We just had Adriaan Strauss being named captain of the Springboks and now Renaldo will captain the Namibians. It is great to have such great leadership depth in any union and the Blue Bulls are in a very fortunate position to have two international captains in their midst’s," he said.
