Worcester Warriors' second-row stocks have taken a hit with the news that lock Darren Barry has been ruled out for up to six weeks with a quad injury.

Barry has not played for the Warriors since their pre-season defeat to Munster last month.

Meanwhile, tighthead prop Nick Schonert will undergo a scan on his ankle today after having to go off injured in Worcester’s 24-10 loss to Wasps on Sunday.

This adds to the growing injury list at Sixways with scrum-half Luke Baldwin sidelined for a minimum of five weeks (bicep) and full-back Chris Pennell (quad) out for two weeks.

Meanwhile, flank David Denton and versatile back Ryan Mills are facing two to three weeks on the sidelines.
