The 27-year-old was honoured at the 20th Nuit du Rugby Awards evening on Monday where he collected two of the top gongs along with his club Toulouse.
Antoine Dupont crowned the Top 14 and France’s best
The award ceremony started back in 2004 by the Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR) to reward the standout players in French professional rugby in both the Pro D2 and Top 14.
Unsurprisingly, Toulouse and Dupont were the big winners after claiming the 2023/24 Top 14 title, with the scrum-half playing a crucial role in their success with a man-of-the-match performance in the final.
For his efforts, Dupont claimed the top two awards being the Best Top 14 Player of the Season as well as the Best French International Player in the competition.
In 2017, the scrum-half won the Breakout Star of the Year and has now won the Best Top 14 Player of the Year for the third time and the French international gong for the fourth time.
He has dominated both awards since 2021 with only Zach Mercer beating him to the Best Top 14 Player of the Year in 2022. While he clinched the top two gongs, his coach Ugo Mola and his staff claimed the Best Top 14 Staff of the Year.

Meanwhile, Pau’s Théo Attissogbé claimed the Breakout Star of the Year after a standout 2023/24 campaign which resulted in him making his Test debut for Les Bleus in July.
It was a profitable night for the scrum-halves as Portugal’s Samuel Marques was named the Best Pro D2 Player of the Season after his form with Beziers. Meanwhile, Vannes’ coaching team claimed the Best Pro D2 staff of the Year after guiding the team to promotion to France’s top flight for the first time in their history.
Retiring match official Mathieu Raynal was named the Best Referee of the 2023/24 season while Stade Francais’ Peniasi Dakuwaqa claimed the Try of the Top 14 season for his sensational 100 metre score against Racing 92.
