Antoine Dupont claims ANOTHER individual accolade after Champions Cup triumph

Antoine Dupont has broken new ground yet again after claiming another individual accolade following Toulouse’s Investec Champions Cup success.
The exceptional Toulouse captain has been recognised once again as he has been named the Investec Player of the Year for 2024, a feat no other player has achieved multiple times.
Antoine Dupont named EPCR Player of the Year
Since the award was introduced in 2010, no other player has claimed the award more than once with Dupont first winning the award in 2021 after guiding Toulouse to their fifth title.
It caps off a memorable Champions Cup season for the French giants, who have now won the tournament two more times than any other team in the competition’s history.
Dupont produced a Player of the Match performance in the final as Toulouse defeated Leinster 31-22, but he impressed throughout the tournament, making more offloads (20) and carries (110) than any other player in the competition.
His four turnovers in the final meant that he finished joint-third overall for turnovers won, with his nine matching that of flankers Levani Botia and Tadhg Beirne and just behind Courtney Lawes (11) and Will Evans (13).
Only Matthis Lebel (16) made more clean breaks than the scrum-half, who also ranked second overall for metres made (534).
