Date published: June 18 2015

Fans will have a further opportunity to buy England and quarter-final tickets when more Rugby World Cup 2015 tickets go on general sale next week.

With unprecedented demand for tickets, an additional 30,000 tickets will go on sale at 10:00 BST on Thursday June 25, including five matches at Twickenham.

In total there will be around 80,000 tickets on sale for 26 matches across 10 venues, including category C and D prices available at five of these fixtures.

There will be 3,000 tickets for the Opening Ceremony and England v Fiji on Friday September 18, 4,000 tickets for each of the Twickenham quarter-finals, as well as tickets for Australia v Wales on Saturday, October 10 and France v Italy on Saturday, September 19. All of these tickets are category A and B.

The newly released tickets are a mixture of handbacks from the Rugby World Cup Limited commercial programme, extra seats from the venues and tickets that have been registered for resale from fans that can no longer use their tickets.

N.B. Asterix indicates the newly released tickets on June 25

Managing Director of England Rugby 2015, Steve Brown, said: "With over 2 million tickets sold and less than 100 days to go, the appetite to watch the world's best teams is continuing to grow. This latest release of tickets will see further availability for five big matches at Twickenham including England's opening game against Fiji and the two Quarter Finals, as well as England v Uruguay, giving fans who missed out last time another opportunity to come to the Tournament.

"The official ticket resale service is still live via tickets.rugbyworldcup.com and provides support to fans who wish to sell tickets for matches they can no longer attend. Fans should only buy tickets from official sources to ensure their ticket is valid for entry at Rugby World Cup 2015 matches.”
