Munster waiting on Chris Cloete injury
Munster could be without openside flanker Chris Cleote for their PRO14 clash with Connacht in Galway on Saturday because of a neck injury.
Cloete was forced off the field in Saturday’s derby win over Leinster after an illegal hit from Tadhg Furlong.
Following the game, Cloete was brought to hospital for assessment.
Initial investigations were normal but he will undergo further assessment this week to determine the extent of his neck injury.
The following Munster players are progressing with rehabilitation: Brian Scott (foot), James Cronin (leg) Jack O’Donoghue (knee) and Dave O’Callaghan (foot).
The Munster squad returned to training at their High Performance Centre in Limerick on Tuesday ahead of their clash against Connacht.
