Montero to miss World Cup
Argentina have been dealt a hammer blow with the news that Manuel Montero will miss the World Cup with a torn ACL.
The Pumas winger suffered the injury in training on Tuesday, his second serious knee injury in two years, and will be sidelined for several months as a result.
Montero had been part of the squad preparing for a second Test against the French Barbarians this week, as los Pumas begin their World Cup preparation.
He tweeted: "Another ruptured anterior cruciate (ligament) and outer meniscus. Very sad, especially this year. Thinking about the comeback."
Nuevamente rotura de cruzado anterior y meñisco externo! Muchísima tristeza sobre todo por este año. A pensar en la vuelta !!!
