The Wallabies are monitoring the fitness of inside centre Christian Lealiifano after he picked up an ankle injury against Argentina.

Lealiifano was replaced in the 33rd minute after sustaining a compression injury on his ankle when tackling Horacio Agulla.

The Brumbies back has been Australia's primary goalkicker throughout the Rugby Championship and added two penalties and two conversions before departing.

Concern over the injury is minor according to the Sydney Morning Herald, with Lealiifano expected to recover in time for the final Bledisloe Cup match in a few weeks time on October 19 in Dunedin.

James Horwill's AC joint in his right shoulder is another concern for Australia, but he is expected to also be fit for the Test against the All Blacks.
