Malherbe in biting scandal
South Africa tighthead Frans Malherbe could be in trouble after a photograph emerged of him apparently biting an opponent on Wednesday.
A photograph taken by the Daily Mail's Kevin Quigley appears to show Malherbe biting USA lock Matt Trouville during the Springboks' 64-0 win over the Eagles at the Olympic Stadium.

According to the Mail, Trouville has no recollection of the incident, although he was wearing shoulder pads, and it seems that it could simply be a case of a misleading still.
Malherbe will have to wait on the judgement of the citing officer to find out if he has a case to answer and the Springbok management revealed they were not aware of the incident.
"We were not aware of that but if the judicial guys make something of it that is up to them," a South African spokesman said.
