Lions use Rocky, Kings pick Eminem

Before the Chiefs, Crusaders, Bulls and Brumbies battle it out for a spot in the final, two teams desperate to be in Super Rugby are set to go toe-to-toe in the first leg of the top flight play-off.
The tension has been building for some time in South Africa since the Kings, who took the place of their upcoming opponents in 2013, were confirmed as the bottom side in their country.
Despite their basement spot, however, victories over the Force, Rebels and Highlanders made for a decent fist of a first season. Impressively, they also drew 28-28 with the Brumbies in Canberra.
It is fair to say that many had predicted no wins for the Eastern Cape side but those strong showings – built on an impregnable defence – will count for nothing if they lose out to the in-form Lions.
In preparation for the opening showdown, both the Kings and the Lions have posted motivational videos to rally their respective supporters (and the neutral for that matter). Not seen them?

The battle lines have been firmly drawn. Now all that remains is 160 minutes – first in Port Elizabeth and then Johannesburg next Saturday – with so much resting on the outcome.
