Lionel Beauxis to start for France against Scotland

France head coach Jacques Brunel has recalled veteran fly-half Lionel Beauxis to his starting line-up for Sunday's clash with Scotland at Murrayfield.

Beauxis is one of three changes to the les Bleus side which suffered a narrow 15-13 defeat to Ireland in their Six Nations opener in Paris last weekend.

The 32-year-old replaces Matthieu Jalibert, who sustained a knee ligament injury in that loss to Ireland. This means Beauxis will make his first appearance at Test level in six years.

Anthony Belleau will continue in his role as les Bleus' back-up fly-half.

France's other changes sees Geoffrey Doumayrou taking over from Henry Chavancy at inside centre while Marco Tauleigne starts at number eight in place of Kévin Gourdon, who injured his ankle against Ireland.

This means Louis Picamoles takes Tauleigne's place amongst the replacements while Baptiste Serin comes in for the injured Antoine Dupont as the back-up scrum-half and Eddy Ben Arous takes over from Dany Priso as front row cover.
