Lealiifano, Cooney, Herbst injury concerns for Ulster

Ulster trio Christian Lealiifano (fly-half), John Cooney (scrum-half) and Wiehahn Herbst (prop) are injury concerns ahead of Saturday's clash with Leinster in Belfast.

Herbst limped off with a calf injury during Ulster's 41-17 Champions Cup loss to La Rochelle while Lealiifano left the field in the same match with a hamstring complaint and Cooney injured his chest after coming on as a replacement.

According to the BBC, a final decision on the trio's fitness will be made later this week.

Meanwhile, Ulster are hopeful that another prop, Kyle McCall, will also be fit for this weekend's clash. McCall was withdrawn from the replacements bench against La Rochelle, shortly before kick-off, after he sustained an injury during a scrummaging session.

Utility back Louis Ludik and back-row Jean Deysel returned to training and could feature against Leinster after missing the defeat to La Rochelle with injuries suffered in the win over Wasps.
