Lambie ruled out by concussion
Shark fly-half Pat Lambie will not travel with the squad to Singapore to face the Sunwolves after suffering a concussion.
Lambie made an early exit from the Sharks defeat to the Sunwolves last weekend, with the Springbok number ten having recently returned from a fractured vertebra.
The concussion occured after Lambie suffered a head clash with his team-mate Rhyno Smith, before being removed from the field.
Through their Twitter account the Sharks communicated: “Pat has concussion symptoms. The Sharks medical team are being cautious and he will not travel with the team to Singapore.”
Garth April filled in for Lambie during last weekend’s match and is likely to do so again against the Sunwolves, with Curwin Bosch currently away with the South Africa U20 side.
