Kriel out for three weeks

Lions and Springbok flanker Jaco Kriel has been ruled out for three weeks with a knee injury after Friday's win over the Jaguares.

Kriel will therefore miss the Lions' overseas tour, taking on the Force, Rebels and Brumbies.

Madosh Tambwe has been left out of the touring party given his involvement with the Junior Boks, while there is a return to the squad for Anthony Volmink.

As announced earlier this week the Lions will be without star centre Rohan Janse van Rensburg, who underwent an operation on his knee on Friday.
