Jones to recall Tuilagi and Solomona?

England coach Eddie Jones has said he will be looking at Leicester Tigers centre Manu Tuilagi's chances of getting called back into the England camp for the autumn internationals following his latest disciplinary setback.

Tuilagi and Sale Sharks winger Denny Solomona were exiled from the England training camp in Teddington last month due to an alleged alcohol related and curfew breaking incident.

Tuilagi, who has also struggled with injuries during his career, has only played in one Test in the last three years.

Despite this latest disciplinary issue, Jones claims the 26-year-old and rugby league convert Solomona have a chance to feature in the November Tests if they improve their behaviour and attitude.

"Everybody makes bad mistakes, we've all done it," said Jones.

"So we'll just assess them at the next period of time. I've already met one of them face to face and if their attitude is right we'll pick them, if not, we won't.

"These things happen, it's a poor choice. I understand they made a poor choice."

Jones has been taken to task for potentially giving special treatment to Tuilagi, who has been involved in numerous disciplinary scandals but the former Australia and Japan head coach sees the situation differently.

"He's only done it once with me, the same with Denny, he added.

"Everybody talks about previous records but he's only done it once with me. If he does it again he'll be spending a lot of time in the Midlands."

Jones also took the time to praise Tuilagi, claiming he is a player capable of "demolishing" the world champion All Blacks as he did in 2012.
