Jaguares head coach Gonzalo Quesada has rung the changes to his starting XV for Friday’s Super Rugby quarter-final with the Chiefs in Buenos Aires.

Quesada has made 12 alterations in all from the side which beat the Sunwolves last weekend.

In the backline, Emiliano Boffelli starts at full-back in place of Joaquín Tuculet while Jeronimo de la Fuente comes in at inside centre where he replaces Santiago González Iglesias. De la Fuente will also captain the side.

Matias Moroni is back on the left wing at the expense of Santiago Carreras while Joaquin Diaz Bonilla and Tomas Cubelli replace Domingo Miotti and Felipe Ezcurra respectively as the starting half-backs.

In the forwards, there is a new back-row in the form of number eight Javier Ortega Desio and flankers Marcos Kremer and Pablo Matera. They take over from Rodrigo Bruni, Juan Manual Leguizamon and Tomás Lezana.

Tomas Lavanini also returns to the second-row with Lucas Paulos dropping out of the squad. Veteran hooker Agustin Creevy is also back in the run-on side where he takes over from Julian Montoya, while Santiago Medrano and Mayco Vivas replace Enrique Pieretto and Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro as the starting props.
