Jack Nowell and Sam Underhill out of France clash

England have been dealt a double injury blow after Jack Nowell and Sam Underhill were ruled out of their game against France in Paris.

Wing or outside centre Nowell is set to miss the remainder of the Championship after he suffered an ankle injury during a training session.

Meanwhile, back-row forward Underhill misses Saturday’s game with a toe problem but could return in time for their meeting with Ireland.

In other injury news from the England squad, captain Dylan Hartley has a muscle problem in his leg and is a slight doubt for this weekend.
