Ireland boosted as duo resume full training
Prop Tadhg Furlong and lock Iain Henderson have resumed full training with the Ireland squad ahead of Saturday's crucial Six Nations match against Scotland.
Furlong was struck down by a hamstring injury just three minutes into Ireland's 56-19 win over Italy three weeks ago while Henderson came off later in the same match, also nursing a hamstring.
Meanwhile, hooker Rob Herring rejoins the squad having resolved an elbow issue sustained playing for Ulster against Edinburgh. Fellow hooker Niall Scannell suffered a recurrence of a rib injury playing for Munster against Glasgow Warriors but is expected to be fit next week.
Andrew Conway is continuing his return from a knee injury at Munster but is expected to be available for selection next week while Leinster's uncapped Barry Daly joins the squad.
