Hill, Marchant out of Argentina tour

Northampton Saints prop Paul Hill and Harlequins centre Joe Marchant have both been ruled out of England's tour to Argentina.

Hill, who has an ongoing neck injury, has not recovered in time for the two-Test tour, and will remain with Northampton for his rehabilitation.

Marchant arrived at the Lensbury-based fitness camp two weeks ago with soft-tissue irritation of his big toe, and following treatment, it has not settled sufficiently for him to be considered for selection.

Denny Solomona will stay with Sale Sharks this week to continue treatment after suffering a mid-foot sprain in Brighton last week.

He will be assessed at the end of the week to decide if he will rejoin the England camp and continue his rehabilitation.

England head coach Eddie Jones will announce his 31-man squad travelling to Argentina on Monday, May 29, following the weekend’s Premiership Final and England's match against the Barbarians.
