Tongan prop Sona Taumalolo and French second-row Yoann Maestri were both red-carded in the first minute of the second-half of their match in Le Havre on Saturday, as a fight broke out between the pair.

The duo are charged with contravening Law 10.4(a) – A player must not strike an opponent with the fist or arm, including the elbow, shoulder, head or knee(s).

Meanwhile, Australian centre Tevita Kuridrani was shown a red card for a dangerous tip-tackle on Ireland's Peter O'Mahony late on in the sides' match in Dublin on Saturday.

Kuridrani faces a charge of breaking Law 10.4 (j) – Lifting a player from the ground and dropping or driving that player into the ground whilst that player's feet are still of the ground such that the player's head and/or upper body come into contact with the ground is dangerous play.

Elsewhere, Samoan centre George Pisi, who was banned for six weeks after tip-tackling Irish winger Tommy Bowe will have his appeal hearing on Thursday in London.
