Goggin set for lengthy layoff

Munster centre Dan Goggin is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after sustaining a knee injury in Friday night's 34-3 win over Treviso.
Goggin came on as a 66th minute replacement for Chris Farrell but was stretchered off eight minutes later as Munster saw out the remainder of the game with fourteen men having already used their full set of substitutes.
Goggin is set to have a scan on the injury on Monday but Munster confirmed in their Monday afternoon injury bulletin that the 22-year-old will be out for the 'the foreseeable future'.
The Limerick-born midfielder comes highly-rated after breaking into the first team last season in which he made 15 appearances for the club.
