Giteau in line for Racing return

Toulon playmaker Matt Giteau has made a timely return to training having spent more than two months on the sidelines.

The former Wallaby back played an instrumental part in Toulon’s French-European double last season and was in top form before suffering a groin injury in the 23-13 European Champions Cup victory over Ulster on October 25.

His absence left RCT short on fly-half options following the retirement of Jonny Wilkinson and a long-term shoulder injury to Fred Michalak.
