Faosiliva set for disciplinary hearing

Alafoti Faosiliva of Worcester Warriors will appear before an RFU disciplinary panel on Wednesday evening charged with striking with the arm and/or elbow, contrary to law 10.4(a).

Faosiliva was sent off by referee Luke Pearce in the weekend’s Premiership match between Worcester and Gloucester for allegedly striking Mariano Galarza with his arm and/or elbow.

The incident occurred in the second half of the game and was referred to the TMO for review before the back rower was red carded.

Faosiliva will appear before a three-person RFU discipline panel chaired by Dan White (chairman), John Brennan and Tony Wheat in Coventry on Wednesday.
