Dave Pearson and Nigel Owens have been appointed as the referees for the Heineken Cup semi-finals on the weekend of 1 / 2 May.

Dave Pearson (England) and Nigel Owens (Wales) have been appointed as the referees for the Heineken Cup semi-finals on the weekend of 1 / 2 May.

ERC, the tournament organisers of the Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup, on Wednesday announced the officials for the semi-finals of both competitions.

Owens will take charge of Toulouse against Leinster at Le Stadium de Toulouse on Saturday, 1 May, with Pearson controlling Biarritz Olympique against Munster at Estadio Anoeta on Sunday, 2 May.

Wayne Barnes (England) will referee the Amlin Challenge Cup semi-final between Connacht and RC Toulon at the Sportsground on Friday, 30 April, with Romain Poite (France) in charge of the match between London Wasps and Cardiff Blues at Adams Park on Saturday, 1 May.
