Dragon Dee free to play

Dragons’ hooker Elliot Dee has been cleared to play after a citing complaint against him was not upheld following a disciplinary hearing.

The front-rower was charged under Law 10. 4 (m) – acts contrary to good sportsmanship – when he made contact with referee Andrew Brace in their defeat to Cardiff Blues.

However, Dee is now free to feature against the Ospreys after it was not deemed a red card offence by the committee.

A PRO14 statement said: “After reviewing the video clips and reports, and hearing explanations from the player and his coach, the hearing committee held that an act of foul play had been committed but that it did not merit an on-field red card and so the citing complaint was not upheld.”
