Davies blow hits Scarlets

Scarlets have suffered a blow after openside flanker James Davies was ruled out until at least the PRO12 play-offs due to an injury.

Davies hurt his shoulder against the Dragons on April 15 and will miss their remaining regular-season games against Connacht and Ospreys.

Scarlets are currently sitting third in the PRO12 standings but have fourth place Ospreys and fifth place Ulster breathing down their neck.

The Welsh side are at the Sportsground this Saturday before hosting the Ospreys at Parc y Scarlets in their final match of the regular-season.
