Clermont wing linked with Pau

Clermont winger Adrien Planté has been linked with a move to Top 14 rivals Pau when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Planté has been with les Jaunards since 2015 after joining from Racing 92, having really made his name during two stints with Perpignan in the last decade.

The 32-year-old is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury and has scored two tries in 16 matches for Clermont this season.

Sud-Ouest have linked with the France international with a switch to Pau, who despite sitting in eighth place are one point off the top six with one round to go in the Top 14 this weekend.
