Castres fought back from 12-0 down at half-time to beat Bourgoin 14-12 in the Top 14 on Friday, at Bourgoin's Stade Pierre-Rajon.

Mickaël Forest got the home side off to a dream start with a try after just three minutes, sniping round the blind side after a succession of picks and drives by his forwards.

Benjami Boyet converted that, but could not convert the try scored by hooker Remy Vigneaux after half an hour.

Vigneaux was the second beneficiary of the Bourgoin pack's superiority, in what was a dour and largely one-sided first half.

But Castres upped the tempo after the break, and wing Mathieu Bourret preyed upon a Bourgoin mistake after 51 minutes to bring Castres back into the game. Romain Teulet converted.

Then, with ten minutes to go and the home team tiring, Steve Kefu's long pass found Laloa Milford out wide, and the Samoan scorched home. Teulet landed the winning points from wide out.

Boyet had a late penalty to turn the game around once more, but saw his kick drift left of the uprights.
