Brumbies fly-half Noah Lolesio out for eight weeks

The Brumbies have confirmed that promising young fly-half Noah Lolesio has been ruled out for eight weeks due to a hamstring injury.

The 20-year-old suffered the injury in the first half of his side’s Super Rugby AU win over the Waratahs in Sydney on Saturday night.

The club are hopeful he will be back in time for the finals, with Brumbies head coach Dan McKeller confident he will return stronger.

“We are really disappointed for Noah, he had a good start to the year and was really enjoying his footy,” he told the club’s website.

“We have got a very good medical team here who will make sure Noah gets the best possible treatment and rehabilitation to ensure he gets back out on the field as soon as possible.

“Whilst we are all disappointed for Noah we’ve got full confidence in Bayley Kuenzle and Reesjan Pasitoa to step in and fill that role.”
