Bristol have bolstered their ranks for the 2017/18 campaign with the arrival of Saracens wing George Perkins and Wasps Academy lock Ehize Ehizode.

21-year-old Perkins – who helped England’s U20 side to the Six Nations title in 2016 – has been dual-registered with Bedford Blues for two seasons, scoring twice against Bristol at Ashton Gate in September 2015.

Meanwhile, standing at 6’5” and 115kg at 19-years-old, highly-regarded Ehizode has represented Wasps at U18 level, A-League and in the Anglo-Welsh Cup.

Bristol head coach Mark Tainton said: “It’s great to have two more young, hungry and ambitious players joining Bristol Rugby.

“It’s great to have two more young, hungry and ambitious players joining Bristol Rugby.”

“George [Perkins] has blistering pace and plenty of experience, having represented England through the age grades and Saracens in the Premiership.

“During his time on loan in the Championship with Bedford Blues, George has consistently shown himself to be one of the most potent finishers in the league.

“Ehize [Ehizode] is coming to the West Country for a fresh challenge and we’re pleased to welcome him into the fold. He’s a physical specimen with all the attributes to be a top-quality lock if he continues to work hard and show the right attitude in training.”
