Utility back Braydon Ennor has committed his future to New Zealand by re-signing with New Zealand Rugby and the Crusaders until 2023.

The talented 22-year-old stormed onto the national scene with a stellar season for Canterbury in the 2017 Mitre 10 Cup before impressing for the Crusaders in their championship winning 2018 and 2019 Investec Super Rugby seasons.

Blessed with searing speed and silky ball skills, Ennor quickly attracted the attention of national selectors and made his Test debut for the All Blacks against Argentina in July 2019.

The one-Test All Black was in great form for the Crusaders in early 2020 before the season was suspended due to the Covid-19 lockdown.

Playing five games at centre, Ennor crossed for four tries and averaged 77 minutes per match to underline his importance to the reigning champions.

The Crusaders have a bye in round one of Super Rugby Aotearoa before taking on the Hurricanes on Sunday 21 June at Sky Stadium in Wellington.
