Ben Spencer answers England SOS
Saracens scrum-half Ben Spencer will join the England Rugby World Cup squad on Monday as an injury replacement for Gloucester’s Willi Heinz.
Heinz injured his hamstring during England’s semi-final win over New Zealand on Saturday night and will be further assessed on Sunday.
Spencer has three international caps to his name.

His maiden international call-up came on England’s tour of South Africa in June 2018 and he took part in England’s pre Rugby World Cup training camps during the summer.
Spencer last appeared for England against Scotland in the 2019 Six Nations.
