Wayne Barnes will referee his first Heineken Cup final when he takes charge of Biarritz and Toulouse at Stade de France on May 22.

Wayne Barnes will referee his first Heineken Cup final when he takes charge of the showdown between Biarritz and Toulouse on May 22.

Barnes, 31, will be supported by fellow English officials Dave Pearson and Chris White as his assistant referees at Stade de France.

The Amlin Challenge Cup final between Cardiff Blues and Toulon in Marseille the following day will be refereed by Ireland's Alain Rolland.
