Another Highlander bites the dust

Highlanders full-back/fly-half James Wilson will be returning to New Zealand this weekend due to a hip injury picked up while playing against the Bulls in Round Ten of the Super 14.

Highlanders full-back/fly-half James Wilson will be returning to New Zealand this weekend due to a hip injury picked up while playing against the Bulls in Round Ten of the Super 14.

“Unfortunately James has not recovered from the hip injury as well as we had hoped,” said Highlanders manager Greg O'Brien.

“He is going back to New Zealand as he requires further assessment of his injury”.

Full-back Glen Horton, a member of the Highlanders wider training group, will be flying to South Africa on Tuesday to join his team-mates in Cape Town.
