Aliouat out for nine months

Bordeaux Bègles have suffered a setback after second-row Johan Aliouat was ruled out for nine months due to a serious knee injury.

The former Montpellier and US Carcassonne lock, 23, has played just twice for UBB this season before he sustained torn cruciate ligaments.

Bordeaux Bègles have had a disappointing start to their campaign as they currently sit in 12th place after losing three of their five matches.
