Alex Dunbar swaps Glasgow Warriors for Brive
Scotland's Alex Dunbar
Scotland Test centre Alex Dunbar has left Glasgow Warriors after signing a deal with newly-promoted Top 14 club Brive, according to reports.
The 28-year-old, who played more than 100 matches for the Warriors, was out of contract after spending nearly 10 years at the PRO14 outfit.
Dunbar has played in 31 Tests for his country and had a spell at Newcastle Falcons on loan in January but will now join Brive, who were promoted to the top tier of French rugby after beating Grenoble in their promotion/relegation play-off earlier this month.
“He will bring all his experience at international level to evolve our young centres,” Brive head coach Jeremy Davidson told the BBC.
