Aaron Shingler and Ashton Hewitt to miss Wales tour

Wales will be without flanker Aaron Shingler and back Ashton Hewitt on their upcoming June tour after both were ruled out due to injury.

Scarlets flanker Shingler suffered an injury in the PRO14 final that requires further assessment and precludes him from going on the tour.

Cardiff Blues’ Josh Turnbull has been called into the squad and will link up with them immediately.

Hewitt suffered a shoulder injury in training on Thursday that also precludes him taking any part in the three-Test tour.
