La Rochelle will welcome the break from Top 14 competition as they have managed just two wins from their nine fixtures in the domestic tournament so far this term.

But it won't get any easier fom the French minnows as they travel to a dangerous Rovigo who will be determined to get their campaign off to a winning start.

Rovigo are eager to improve on their last showing in the Amlin Challenge Cup as they suffered heavy defeats to Saracens, Castres and Toulon last season.
