Worcester exacted revenge on their European Challenge Cup Pool rivals as they claimed a 27-6 victory over Bourgoin at Sixways on Saturday.

Tries from centre Sam Tuitupou and hooker Aleki Lutui complimented an assured seventeen-point haul from Joe Carlisle to move the Warriors comfortably clear of their French opponents.

The New Zealand-born number twelve returned to the fray this week having missed the defeat at Stade Pierre Rajon but was the standout player under wet conditions.

Elsewhere in the competition's Pool Three, there was also a settling of scores in Italy as Bucuresti defeated Petrarca 17-15 to close the gap on their hosts.
