Tipster: Warriors to beat Quins

European and Currie Cup action takes its place on rugby's back burner this weekend with domestic events giving the Tipster plenty to think about.

Our version of 'The Stig' was of course left reeling by that hit-and-miss on October 18 - a successful 'Banker' already having been tinged by the width of a Liberty Stadium post. Brock, we feel your pain.

But the Tipster aside, what a weekend of captivating stuff it was again in both hemispheres!

And so to what is on the immediate agenda...

Britain and Ireland's elite competitions have the makings of another fine round of fixtures and will no doubt be dominated by the derby at Ravenhill, the Exiles against Tigers and the final regular-season games of the Air New Zealand Cup.

It all looks rather exciting so let us see if the Tipster can put a smile on your face as Planet Rugby's advice compliments Sky Bet's abundance of rugby markets!

Banker of the week

It would have been amazing for Harlequins not to avoid a few early Guinness Premiership slip-ups after those unfortunate and unforgettable events of Heineken Cup 2008/09.

And so it has proved as one win from their opening five domestic fixtures is a record that smacks of low self-belief and fluidity at the Twickenham Stoop.

Add to that a few injuries joining the party and an away defeat to Worcester this Saturday now doesn't seem that unlikely.

Discount the form book for a second, which reads: 'Quins have won their last six domestic games against the Warriors since Worcester's 15-9 victory at the Stoop in 2005'...and 'Quins have won the last four times they have visited Sixways'...I believe the hosts will sneak a win.

Get on Worcester to beat Harlequins!

Worth a punt

It should be a cracker in Belfast and one suspects a sold-out Ravenhill will be rocking for the visit of reigning European champions Leinster.

That game is one of two Magners League derby fixtures taking place on Saturday evening local time, but I have decided to pull up at Cardiff City Stadium where the Ospreys arrive for what promises to be a fascinating 80 minutes. International spots are also up for grabs.

I still feel that Wales' top two regions have serious shouts of lifting the Heineken Cup this season - despite the Blues' stuttering start - and I predict Sam Norton-Knight to finally fire his impressive back-line when the crowd wants him to the most.

So have a go on Leigh Halfpenny or Tom James as first try-scorer!

Hail Mary

Just the eleven teams in our fourth and long this weekend so here we go...

Bath, Northampton, London Irish, Gloucester, Stade Français, Toulon, Toulouse, Clermont, Glasgow, Munster, Waikato

Anything take your fancy?
