Moving north: Jono Owen

Top 14 side Grenoble have announced the signing of Queensland Reds prop Jono Owen ahead of next season.

Owen, 27, is primarily a tighthead prop but can also be used on the loosehead side of the scrum.

The New Zealander has previously spent time with the Brumbies and Rebels in Super Rugby over the last few years.

Owen has only signed a one-year contract with Grenoble, with an option for a second year.

He has played in ten of the Reds matches so far in Super Rugby this year.

Grenoble finished 11th in Top 14 this season, two points clear of relegation above Perpignan.
