All Blacks flanker Victor Vito has been linked with a move to France to link up with rejuvenated side Stade Français in the Top 14.
Vito, who has 22 caps for New Zealand at the age of 27, is reaching the end of his contract with the Hurricanes and NZRU.
His deal is set to expire in December according to Midi Olympique, bringing him to the attention of clubs overseas in France and Japan.
Vito's future with the All Blacks is unclear, having only been selected twice in 2013 and with the triumvirate of Liam Messam, Richie McCaw and Kieran Read regarded as the best in the world.
Should he move to Paris, Vito would be in the company of a number of internationals including Morné Steyn, Digby Ioane, Sergio Parisse and France captain Pascal Papé.
Stade are enjoying their best season for some time in the Top 14 but are beginning to fade away in the race for the playoffs.
Still, in Vito they would acquire an excellent athlete. The only question is whether Vito would want to jeopardise his chances of playing in next year's Rugby World Cup.
