France international wing Alexis Palisson will follow in the footsteps of his father and uncle by joining Toulouse next season, the club confirmed on Monday.
26-year-old Palisson, who joined Toulon in late 2011 has only played eight Top 14 ties this season and recently broke his contract with the club which had been due to run until June 2015.
"He has wanted to join Toulouse for a certain number of years now," said Toulouse manger Guy Novès.
"He wanted to come and see where his father and uncle (Thierry Palisson) played," added Novès, recalling how he played with Alexis' father Didier during the 1980s.
The four-time European champions already have several wingers on their books including France internationals Yoann Huget, Maxime Medard, Vincent Clerc, former All Black Hosea Gear as well as Fijian Timoci Matanavou and Yves Donguy, with the latter two not featuring much recently.
Palisson played for Brive between 2005 and 2011 before joining Toulon, winning the European title last season.
He was capped 21 times for France between 2008 and 2012, scoring two tries and was on the France team that finished runners-up at the last World Cup.
